Treetop igloo in Lårdal

Welcome to a one of a kind treetop igloo!

Towering 5 meters above the ground, we invite you to an airy and unique experience – the first of its kind in Norway! The stars above, the river below and the treetops dancing around you. Take a dip in the river, and enjoy a sensational experience when you use our outdoor shower. Leave your troubles behind, and be in one with nature!

The igloo is located in the beautiful valley called Lårdal. The valley is most reminiscent of western nature with its steep and proud slopes and the water that rests at the foot end. This hidden gem is only 3 hours from Oslo, and the drive here is an experience in itself if you enjoy spectacular Norwegian nature.

Be aware that our igloos have no electricity or running water. This is a beautiful back to nature experience with the luxury of a hotel room. The wood stove is your heating source, and you’ll have unlimited amount of wood available, so keep it warm!

Tretoppiglo i Lårdal is located by itself in a forest at the very top of the valley. You are completely by yourself among birds and squirrels, 5 meters up in the air, with a trickling river right below you and a stone’s throw away you will find Støylsdalen, a remote dirt road that is world-renowned for its diversity of deer, elk and roe deer. A short walk at dusk can quickly lead to an extraordinary close encounter.
