Legal reason for processing personal data

We consider that we are allowed to process personal data in accordance with GDPR Article 6.1(b) and Article 6.1(f).

6.1(b) Necessity to process data in order to perform a contract

When you as a guest make a reservation with us, it must be considered that a contract is made between you and us. We consider that the contract terminates automatically when you as a guest have checked out of our igloos.

We must therefore be able to use the personal information for the following:

  • Communication with you.
  • History of which location you have stayed at.

6.1(f) Legitimate Interests

You as a guest and us have some shared interests, so we also process data in order to be able to perform the following tasks:

  • Keep history to be able to solve criminal acts.
  • To comply with the Norwegian laws for accounting.
  • To be able to offer you as a guest the best possible user experience and service.

We will not use your personal information for anything other than the purpose of your stay. Personal data that is considered high risk will be encrypted as soon as this is possible and is not in conflict with other laws.

Who do we share your personal information with?

We never share personal information with anyone other than necessary parties involved in your stay. We share parts of your personal information with our booking supplier:

Right to access and deletion

We may give you access to your personal information. Contact us and we can deliver this within 30 days. Also let us know if you want to be deleted from our database, then we will delete everything that we can delete as long as no other law prevents us from doing this.
