15 minutes walk uphill from the parking and check in, you will arrive at this spectacular location where you have a panoramic view on three famous mountains in the southern part of Norway. This igloo is located only an hour drive from Oslo or 90 minutes by public transportation. Once you reach your destination, you will be all by yourself in- and with nature — perhaps joined by a few sheep. Lean back, enjoy the view, and let your thoughts fly away.

There are several hiking alternatives just steps away from the igloo, both for the experienced and beginner. If you want to combine your stay with a cultural visit to the famous museum The Twist (Kistefossmuseet), it is a short 20 minutes drive away.

Be aware that our igloos have no electricity or running water. This is a beautiful back to nature experience with the luxury of a hotel room. The wood stove is your heating source, and you’ll have unlimited amount of wood available, so keep it warm!
